University of Michigan

The University of Michigan is also known for its college football team – The Michigan Wolverines.

The Michigan football team plays at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level.

 

Michigan State University 

Michigan State University is also known for its college football team – The Michigan State Spartans, and they also play at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level.

Both Michigan State University and the University of Michigan are part of the Big Ten Conference.

 

WHAT HAPPENED

On Saturday, October 29th, 2022, the Michigan Wolverines defeated the Michigan State Spartans 29 – 7.

After the NCAA football match, it was alleged that Michigan State players surrounded Michigan defensive back Ja’ Den  McBurrows and threw punches and kicks at him.

Michigan football coach James ‘Jim’ Harbaugh has stated that two (2) players were assaulted.

The University of Michigan Police, the Michigan State University Police, and the Michigan Athletics and Michigan Football are investigating the postgame scuffle.
